Star Wars Figure Collecton

A small portion of my Star Wars figure collection.

I started collecting Star Wars figures when they were first released. My
first figure was Princess Leia.  My dad bought her for me at a Kroger
store for $1.99.  Over a couple years I got a few more, but most of them
fell prey to the beagle.  Then in the mid 1980's, Kenner decided to stop
making them.
Then in 1994, Kenner/Hasbro decided to start a new line of Star Wars figures
called Power of the Force.  It was cool because it meant that I could start
collecting Star Wars figures again.  I had a difficult time finding then where
I lived but I managed to find a Han Solo at FAO Schwartz when I was
vacationing in New York.
I kept collecting the figures until about a year ago when it was becoming
increasingly difficult to find the new figures in the line.  I will pick
up the sporadic figure when I have the chance.
