Went to Comerica Park again. I was hoping to see Granderson get his 20th steal
so that he would join the history books as the third person to get at least 20
doubles, 20 triples, 20 home runs and 20 steals. He would be the second to
get 30 doubles, 20 triples, 20 home runs and 20 steals. Fortunately, I wasn't
disappointed in that regard. He did it and I was ready to capture it as a
picture.

Unfortunately, the Tigers lost to the Mariners 14-7. But that's okay because
the Tigers at least took the series.

Anyways...pictures...

The hit leading to the single.

Granderson getting a lead off...

Slides into base and gets the steal...

Safe at second...

The scoreboard highlighting what just happened.

The managers exchanging the scorecards before the game.

The Fox Sports Dudes (the names elude me at the moment).

Adrian Beltre

Bloomquist

Unfortunately, Bonderman didn't have such a great game. He gave up 6 Earned
Runs and only had 1 Strikeout. He lasted 1 1/3 innings.

One of the Tiger relievers. It wasn't a good day for Tiger pitching. Although
this one only gave up 2 runs.

Timo Perez making a catch.

Some more of Granderson.

Granderson getting a homer.

Sean Green, one of the Seattle Relievers.

Grilli, one of the Tiger relievers. He had about as good of game as the rest
of the Tigers pitching staff today.

Carlos Guillen

The Seattle starting pitcher.

Some shots of Ichiro. He had a pretty good day, 3 for 4 with 2 Base on Balls.

Why Ichiro is one of the most photographed players in baseball.

Brandon Inge

Jose Guillen of the Mariners

Kenji Johjima, the catcher for Seattle.

Jim Leyland, the skipper.

Magglio Ordonez, who is still ahead of Ichiro for the batting title. Magglio
is hitting .355 and Ichiro is hitting .349.

O'Flaherty, one of the Seattle relievers.

Not sure who this is.

After a year, he's still a Putz. (I saw him at the Angels game I went to last
year)

Rapada. A rough start for the rookie. (I think this was his first Major
League game)

Some random Seattle players.

Gary Sheffield.

Vasquez, another Tiger reliever. He didn't have a bad game.

The Ty Cobb statue in center field.

It was a nice day for the game. It looked like it might rain at first but the
clouds cleared up and the sun came out. It wasn't too hot. Shame the Tigers
didn't win but oh well.
