Ever since I was a kid, I've been going up to the Upper Penninsula and the Mackinac Bridge. Every so often, I've even walked across a few times during the Labor Day walks. One of these years, I'll have to go back up there to walk it again. Anyways, here are some pictures...This is probably one of the iconic images of the Mackinac Bridge. Gives you a good idea of the size of the bridge. It covers a total distance of 5 miles. It doesn't have the longest span though.
This is another iconic image. This is taken from the little park that is in Mackinaw City. It seems like a few of the postcard shots have to have little bits of tree in them.
Another fairly common shot. This is taken from near the visitor's center of Fort Michimilimac Park.
Some seagulls near the park.

The Mackinaw Bridge in the winter.
This is a shot of the Mackinaw Bridge. Unfortunately it was taken as I was learning about my camera. I didn't realize I needed to take the filter off for night shots.

And in the winter...
The highway that leads up to Tahquanemon Falls.
Some trees along that highway.

And the upper Falls. These are probably the more famous of the two. Back to My Background
