Been going up to Northern Michigan for a number of years now. Probably one of
my favorite spots to visit is the Lumberman's Monument. It used to be a little
cooler a few years ago when there was still Wurtsmith Air Force Base by Oscoda.
It's still not bad. I will add more pictures as time goes by.

Damn You! Damn You all to hell....You maniacs...You blew it up....

I don't remember where this town was, but it was pretty odd.

Same town, different head.

Some fall foilage around Oscoda.

And some more.

Another birch stand.

Some place called Millen County. The Fire Millen sign is in honor of the great
General Manager and President of the Lions.

This is a high accuracy medallion that can be used to view the accuracy of your
GPS unit. This is near the Lumberman's Monument.

This is the Lumberman's Monument.

A close up.

One of the figures.

Another angle.

And another one of the figures.

A simulated log jam.

The view of the Au Sable River, just behind the monument.

The Pine River

Another of the Pine River.

And another.

A fishing shack at the Pine River.

Detail of that.

A sign in one of the farms just north of Standish Michigan.

A barn near Standish.

And another...

And another...

And another...
